Gunite Pools
Gunite pools are one of the top choices for homeowners today, due to their beauty, versatility and durability. They can be as custom-designed and elaborate or as basic and budget friendly as you would like and allow for a variety of finishes to coordinate with the rest of your outdoor living area. Plaster finishes come in an array of shades to coordinate with the pool decking you choose. Other finishes can be created from pebbles or glass for a truly unique, high end look in your swimming pool. The flexibility of the material means you can customize a swimming pool to your specific taste and budget.
Gunite pools use a rebar framework that is sprayed over with a concrete and sand mixture. The method is preferable over a traditional poured concrete pool that requires a wooden framework to hold the shape of the basin. Gunite is immensely durable, so swimming pools made of this substance are built to last.
Vinyl Pools
Vinyl lined pools are a more affordable option to in-ground swimming pool ownership.They can be as custom or standard as you like to fit your budget and needs. A vinyl lined pool uses durable vinyl to create the shell of your swimming pool.
The custom made durable sheet of vinyl is measured and fitted between the water and the pool structure. Vinyl liners typically lock their top edge, called a bead, into a track located on the bottom of the coping, which is at deck level. Underneath the liner is a sand or cement-like floor, specified in dimension to the "cut" of the liner that is to be used. The floors come up to meet the walls, which are commonly 3 ft by 8 ft panels made of galvanized steel or thermoplastic. These walls are supported from behind so that they won't bow out against the weight of the water. All of the wall panels are secured together to make up the perimeter shape of the swimming pool. Because of the flexibility with the steel walls, a vinyl pool also offers unlimited size and shape design options.
We can design and build a vinyl lined pool that is custom and elegant to rival any concrete pool design. As in all inground pools, a variety of features may be added to your vinyl pool including spas, waterfalls, decking, laminar jets, lighting effects and pool heaters.
